Jamaica February 6, 2024.

A funeral came down the main street of Port Antonio today.

Instead of a hearse a car was towing a trailer on which was

strapped a see through box with the coffin and flowers inside.
A long procession of cars followed.
In the middle of the mourners was a van with loudspeakers

This is not an abandoned quarry. It’s a natural sink hole where

the Earth has collapsed hundreds of feet.
A small child fell over the edge here and incredibly

was saved by foliage a few feet down.

 A heavier person would not have been so lucky.
That’s why they’ve put a sign here.
Hopefully nobody trips over it.
